Your Broker Shows You Numbers. We Show You Insights.
Most broker apps show you a profit/loss number — but that doesn't tell you much. Sure, you're up €5,000 this year. But where does that actually come from?
Is it unrealized gains from stocks you still hold? Realized profits from positions you sold? Dividend income? Without this breakdown, you're flying blind.
And which assets are actually driving your portfolio? That €5,000 gain might hide the fact that one stock made €8,000 while three others lost €3,000 combined. You need to know which positions are working and which aren't.
Then there's the cash question: how much of your portfolio growth is actual returns vs. money you deposited? If your portfolio grew from €50,000 to €60,000, but you deposited €12,000 during the year, you actually lost €2,000. Most people miss this.
TrackinV breaks down your portfolio into actionable insights that help you make better investment decisions.

Analytics That Actually Matter
Return Breakdown Explained
Unrealized Gain/Loss
How much your current holdings have grown or declined since purchase. These are paper profits that can still change.
Realized Gain/Loss
Profit or loss from positions you've sold, calculated using FIFO method. These are locked-in gains.
Dividend Income
Actual dividend payments received, tracked per transaction. Pure cash income from your holdings.
Top & Bottom Performers
- Ranked by absolute contribution to your portfolio
- Toggle between all positions (including closed) and open only
- Full company names, not just tickers
- Shows both amount (€) and percentage (%)
Net Cash Flow
Deposits minus withdrawals — your actual out-of-pocket investment. This is different from "total invested" (which only counts current holdings).
Net Cash Flow helps you answer: "How much money did I actually put into the market?"
This metric is critical for understanding your true return. If your portfolio is worth €100,000 and your net cash flow is €80,000, your actual gain is €20,000 — not the sum of all your buy transactions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between unrealized and realized gains?
Unrealized gains are paper profits on positions you still hold — they can go up or down. Realized gains are locked-in profits from positions you've sold. TrackinV tracks both separately so you know exactly where you stand.
How are gains calculated?
TrackinV uses the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. When you sell shares, it matches them against your oldest purchases first to determine the cost basis and calculate the gain or loss.
Does it track closed positions?
Yes. When you sell all shares of a position, it doesn't disappear. TrackinV keeps track of your realized gain/loss and shows closed positions in the Top/Bottom Performers section.
What is Net Cash Flow?
Net Cash Flow is the total money you've deposited minus withdrawals. It tells you how much of your own money you've put into the market, separate from any investment returns.
Is portfolio analytics free?
Basic analytics are available on the free plan. Advanced analytics including full return breakdown, top/bottom performers with closed positions, and detailed metrics are Premium features.
